My name is Suyeon Son. I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University since December 2025. My research focuses on understanding the structure and evolution of active galactic nuclei using flux variability.
Interests
- Structure and evolution of AGN components (torus, broad-line region, and accretion disk)
- Transients occurred on central BH (tidal disruption event and changing-look event)
- SMBH-galaxy co-evolution
