Our regular group meetings will be held every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:00.
Working groups
All current members are divided into several working groups organized by specific research topics. Each working group has a senior graduate student or postdoc serving as the captain. The captain is responsible for leading discussions and coordinating presentations within the group.
During the weekly group meeting, the captain of each working group will first provide a brief review (5–10 minutes) of the group’s current status, including recent progress and any challenges encountered. The remaining time will focus on discussing these challenges and exploring possible solutions. One or two members from the working group will help lead the discussion, and active participation from all members of the SMBH–galaxy group is expected.
We have established five working groups (Captains are marked with bold text):

Each working group is expected to hold an internal discussion before the Wednesday formal meeting to summarize progress, identify key issues, and coordinate presentations. This preparation will help ensure that the group meetings are efficient and productive.
During the discussion sessions, each working group will designate one member to take notes. The notes from all working groups will be collected after the group meeting and stored on the Synology network drive.
The captain of each working group is expected to keep track of the issues discussed and provide a follow-up review at the next group meeting.
